2 Year Limited Warranty

The PC Engineers LTD trading as ByteBox Computers Limited Warranty

1. Overview

This Limited Warranty ("Warranty") is provided by The PC Engineers LTD trading as ByteBox Computers ("Company") to the original purchaser ("Customer") of a ByteBox Gaming Computer ("Product"). This Warranty applies to Products purchased from The PC Engineers LTD trading as ByteBox Computers or authorised distributors and covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

2. Warranty Period

The Warranty period begins on the date of purchase by the Customer. The duration of this Warranty is 2 years for hardware components. Any replacement parts provided under this Warranty are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty period or for ninety (90) days, whichever is longer.

3. Coverage

During the Warranty period, The PC Engineers LTD trading as ByteBox Computers will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective hardware components of the Product. The decision to repair or replace a Product will be made by the Company based on the circumstances of the defect.

4. Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, or unauthorised modifications.
  • Damage caused by external factors such as electrical surges, water, fire, or other acts of nature.
  • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to, cosmetic damage such as scratches and dents.
  • Software, including operating systems, installed by the Customer or third parties, and any data loss.
  • Products with serial numbers or warranty labels that have been altered, defaced, or removed.
  • Consumables such as batteries unless otherwise specified.

5. Claim Procedure

To make a Warranty claim, the Customer must:

  1. Contact The PC Engineers LTD trading as ByteBox Computers customer support at support@byte-box.uk to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.
  2. Provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, invoice) and a detailed description of the defect.
  3. Ship the Product to the 52 The Fields, Washingborough, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN41FY with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package. The Customer is responsible for shipping costs, insurance, and the safe packaging of the Product.
  4. Upon receipt, the Company will inspect the Product to determine if it qualifies for Warranty service.

6. Limitations of Liability

The Company's liability under this Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective hardware components. The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product, including but not limited to, lost profits, data loss, or downtime.

7. Governing Law

This Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

8. Modifications and Amendments

The Company reserves the right to modify or amend the terms of this Warranty at any time, provided that such changes do not retroactively affect the rights of the Customer.

9. Entire Agreement

This Warranty constitutes the entire agreement between the Customer and The PC Engineers LTD trading as ByteBox Computers with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, whether oral or written.
